the purple tree guest house was absolutely lovely! the pool was awsome, we had it to ourselves for 2 hours which was so chill. brekkie was delish, and the rooms were super clean and comfy. couldn’t have asked for better hosts, they were just the best! definitely coming back!

Navigating to the bathroom also poses a challenge, with doors that cannot open fully due to the tight layout. the walk to the nearest beach has some less-than-appealing paths, which can be a bummer. Lastly, parking availability showed signs of strain during peak hours, so plan accordingly.

I enjoyed my stay at The Purple Tree. The welcoming atmosphere from Ian and Debbie stood out, creating a homely feel. The outdoor pool provided a fantastic spot to unwind after exploring Torquay. One downside was the limited parking, but the experience overall was exceptional.

We enjoyed our stay in the Premier Twin Room for 3 nights. The pool area was well-maintained and the breakfasts were delicious. The hosts provided excellent local advice. Everything was clean and tidy. Short walk to the beach and local pubs. ☀️
